To be completely honest I was a bit dubious of buying from Tideace as I had never come across them before but due to the spec of the forks required Tideace seemed to be the only company offering the correct spec for my bike. This paired with the relatively low cost of carbon forks compared other companies, I took my chance as I really wanted to try carbon forks on my bike. \n\nI'm please to say that these forks are really good quality. I was disappointed off the bat because of the limited chainring size the frame allows. Nowhere in the frame description or webpage does it say that it can accommodate a max 2x chainring of 46/30. For me this isn't great because I live around rolling gravel roads and a 46t is just too small to be competitive in a bike race with a Shimano cassette. The cable routing was smooth, the carbon layup looks great in the inside, the downtube storage is nifty. The paint looks great, but is paper thin. Building the frame up I dropped a tool and hit the paint and easily removed a noticeably large amount of paint. At the end of the day, the bike works great, but I would not consider this a race machine. Definitely great for off road adventures with all of its mounting brackets. Beware of aggressive geometry and do not cut your steerer tube as low as you normally do. The frame is longer and lower than most gravel frames.
